I celebrate this year 2007 Singapore National Day with my husband. I have been searching round for the tickets since Jan this year and yet to get one till the eve. I was so excited about it. This is the first time i manage to get NPD tickets. My husband and i woke up early on that day to pack all the neccessities to bring along, in order to enjoy the show. We brought along 2 portable fans and caps to cool ourself under that hot sun. We bought 2 T-shirts with the NDP logo printed on it. From the entrance way to our seat, i just can't ease my excitment. There are so much surprised waiting ahead. First surprised is the goodie bag. One by one i took out the items from the goodie bags. This is where the fun begin. The flags, the 3D cap, the portable fan with laser text of Happy Birthday appearing on the panes upon rotating. The small little surprised just can't stop.
There's are lots of entertainment from the hosts before the show starts. I get out of my seat when the name of the host was annouced. He's Daniel Ong, my favourite host. The next best thing is the FIRST marine wave made. I just enjoy myself so much with all the fun with the crowd. My husband said i behave just like a little kid. After the show, i told myself i'm sure i want to do it again next year.
